Fade Sun Damage & Skin Pigmentation

Clear Away Pigmentation

It’s well known that a smooth “peaches and cream” complexion gives you a more youthful appearance. Your skin gets its colour from a pigment called melanin, which is produced by specialised skin cells. If these cells become damaged or unhealthy, they can become highly
erratic in their melanin production, leading to darker or lighter patches of skin. The dark patches are sometimes referred to as ‘age spots’, but younger people can also develop them.

Almost all types of benign pigmented lesions can be treated with Acroma, with excellent efficacy and clinically proven results.
Acroma is the most advanced and acclaimed technology for non-invasive fading of skin pigmentation on the face and body. Acroma treatment is fast and comfortable—with no downtime. You can return to your normal activities immediately after treatment, with predictable and dramatic results.

How does it work?

STEP 1: Your skin cells are stimulated with a precisely controlled energy source that causes the pigmented cells to break down.
STEP 2: This triggers a renewal process, producing quantities of the chemicals that gave your skin its youthful clarity, elasticity and fullness. Your body replaces the damaged skin cells with new, healthy cells.
STEP 3: The result is a more even skin tone and a younger, firmer, appearance. Acroma laser treatment also smoothes superficial lines and wrinkles, helping to turn back the clock for your skin.

Acroma targets and destroys freckles, pigmented lesions, sunspots and other dark pigmentation on your skin.

How Does Acroma Treat Skin Pigmentation?

Acroma’s advanced pulse system is delivered at the right intensity to act on the darkened areas of pigment, minimising the risk to harm the skin and surrounding tissue.

What Results Can I Expect?

You may experience some initial darkening of the treated areas. This is temporary, and after about 5 -7 days, they will begin to fade. They will become progressively lighter with each treatment. Usually 3 – 4 treatments are required to reduce most of the pigment.

  • Targets darkened areas of pigmentation
  • Breaks up areas of pigmentation, allowing the body to lighten and clear it naturally
  • Surrounding tissue is not damaged
  • Can treat light or dark skin types
  • No medication necessary
  • Fast and comfortable treatment
  • Minimal downtime
Will Acroma Suit My Skin Type?

Acroma can be used successfully on light or dark skin types. As well as addressing pigmentation, Acroma is an excellent choice for all-round skin rejuvenation treatment.

How Will The Treatment Feel?

You will be aware of light warmth in the treatment area. You will feel a slight sting, as if a rubber band is being snapped against your skin, but this is minimal, and highly tolerated by patients.

For best ongoing results, you should always protect your skin from direct sun exposure. Always cover up and use a good SPF sunblock when out in the sun.
