Lash Lift

The lash lift procedure has revolutionized old, inadequate perming techniques. Using silicone pads instead of perm rods, this new technique can lift, straighten or curl, and lengthen your own natural lashes to create a brighter, fuller, wide eyed look. No need for extensions and the associated aftercare, this will last you 6-8 weeks and can be combined with a tint to leave the mascara behind.

Can a Lash Lift be used to compliment other treatments?

Yes!  A lash Lift is enhanced when you use an eyelash growth product, such as RevitaLash, which is available in our store. While your lashes grow longer, our process controls straight or overly curly lashes by giving them a uniform lifted look. Black eyelash tint is applied during the treatment to enhance the look of your lashes.  See treatment price list here.

Is a Lash Lift the same as an eyelash perm?

No. The Lash Lift is a new and improved procedure, overcoming the ‘over curled’ look of its predecessor . Whilst the chemical procedure is identical to a perm, the difference is in the results. By ditching the old fashioned perm rollers (which curled  back the lashes to the extent of the ‘dolly look’) the silicone pads used for this  new procedure lift the lash from the root in either a straight or curled, upwards fashion that produces length and a bright eyed enhanced look.

Does the Lash Lift procedure hurt?

The procedure is totally painless.  You will have your eyes closed for the entire treatment and although it may feel a little strange being unable to open your eyes for this time, it offers you a chance to relax during the treatment.

Is the procedure safe?

Yes. Lashes are lifted onto our specially shaped lifting pads before products are applied.

Will the Lash Lift damage my natural lashes??

No. Select a carefully trained and skilled professional to ensure proper Lash Lift procedures are followed

How long does a Lash Lift take?

A lash lift can takes between 45 minutes to an hour from beginning to end. If you decide to have your eyelashes tinted, which will enhance the effect of your Lash Lift, the total procedure may take slightly longer.

How long will a Lash Lift last?

A Lash Lift can last 6-8 weeks but may vary from person to person.  There is no need for any maintenance appointments in between Lash Lifts but you will need to have the process repeated every 6-8 weeks to lift the new hair growth. There are some situations that may cause the lift to drop/weaken prematurely such as swimming, use off harsh products or heat.  If you find that your lift does not last the full 2 months, you can repeat the treatment after a minimum of 4 weeks after having the initial treatment, but not before.

Will I have a reaction to the lotion?

Very few people have a reaction to the lotion, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be one of them. What one person reacts to, another is fine with. This is why you can opt to have a patch test 24 hours beforehand.  A patch test is quick and simple.  It consists of us placing 2 drops of lotions behind the ear for 15 minutes, wiping it off and waiting to see if any subsequent irritation occurs over the next 24 hours such as redness, itching or inflammation.

I wear contact lenses, can I have this procedure?

Yes. However, we will ask you to remove them temporarily during the treatment as the eyes will be closed throughout.

Can I wear makeup after my lash lift?

Yes but it is advised that you leave your lashes untouched for at least 24 hours after your treatment. You may find that there is no need for mascara anyway, but if you wish to make your lashes even fuller, a non-waterproof mascara is advised as the removal of waterproof mascaras can be harsh on the lashes and weaken the lift.

How do I clean my eyes?

Gently, using mild products. Always wait 24 hours after the procedure.

Can I use an eyelash curler?

No. There will be no need for an eyelash curler as this treatment gives a much better result than using a curler, But more importantly, using one may weaken and damage your lashes.

How often can I have a lash lift?

A lash lift will begin to naturally drop after about 2 months and your lashes will be back to their natural look. The lashes should drop evenly and will not look out of place. You can repeat the treatment after a minimum of one month if you feel you need to, or you can wait until they are back to their natural state.

Eyebrow Lamination

Introducing our revolutionary new eyebrow lamination treatment NEW TO DIAMOND
Our Brow Lamination treatments use a range of techniques together with a premium brow lamination product to boost your natural brows, giving the appearance of greater length, volume and definition.

Our lamination treatments use a special product that straightens your natural brows, allowing each individual hair to stand up and out.  Our therapist then shape and tint the lifted brow hair to maximise the effect.

How does it work?
Your brow stylist will discuss with you the unique shapes, styles and tints recommended to suit your natural features, as well as the overall look you are hoping to achieve.  You control the look you are after – those with bold features or high brow lines may opt for a more dramatic look, or those with a lighter complexion may prefer a softer look.

Once your consultation is complete, your therapist  will then begin the procedure, which involves applying a brow lifting solution; shaping your brows; and finally applying the perfect tinting shade.

Unlike many others, the team at Diamond also applies an advanced aftercare formula at the completion of your session.  This keratin-based product helps to eliminate frizzy hair whilst providing softness and shine to your hair.  Sunflower oil extracts and antioxidants also help protect the hair and provide longer lasting colour-stay results for tinting.

The entire treatment usually takes between 30 and 45 minutes

Henna Brows

Henna is a dye naturally derived from a plant called Lawsonia inermis, also known as hina or the henna tree. Traditional henna is famously known from the temporary body art resulting from the staining of the skin from the dye.

In this modern day, companies all over the world have created Henna products specifically for brows and are now used in salons everywhere.

We find most clients prefer Henna brows to traditional tinting as the Henna is a natural product, produces longer lasting results and also helps restore weak/damaged hairs.

Henna brows are especially popular with clients who are wanting to add volume and definition to their brows but are not quite ready to commit to getting Brow Microblading.

We stock a range of Henna shades to suit all skin types/hair colours and can also mix together colours to create a custom blend resulting in the perfect Henna brow.
